Site manager / warehouseman
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
5-year contract As our warehouse manager / site manager, you will be responsible for inventory control, as well as the accuracy of ordering parts / equipment and consumables.
It will be part of your role to make sure that suppliers ship and return newspapers, as well as that prescribed procedures are followed when reserving in and out of tools and other equipment.
You will perform and be responsible for scheduled inventory, as well as ensure that parts and inventory levels are maintained at required levels and maintain accurate records. Verifying that the correct quantities and correct products have been received, as well as quality control of all products, will be part of your duties.
He will be in contact with manufacturers and suppliers, in addition to assisting the Admin Administrator and providing additional assistance on an ad-hoc basis.
In addition to this, you must be willing / available to be on hold and / or calls.
Along with your relevant Matric, N3 or NQF4, you have Math and Science with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. He is computer literate with knowledge of CMMS and stock control systems, as well as warehousing practices, procurement systems and procedures.
