DESCRIPTION
Our client, leading supplier and manufacturer of superior quality tools to its designated markets. Conforming to the highest level of quality standards seeks a Junior Draughtsman for their operations in New Germany, KZN
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Sheet metal value stream product and component drawings as well as sheet-metal product development.
CNC Programming for Sheetmetal punching and bending machines.
Creation of sheet-metal drawings for outsourced production.
Creation of sheet-metal tooling drawings for tools manufactured in the Tool, JIG and De.
Factory layout drawings as required by Management from time to time.
The issue and control of drawings including change control.
Ensuring that design software is kept up to date.
Any other reasonable task requested by the Technical Manager.
Ensuring that Quality management system requirements are maintained in the drawing office.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualification in 2D/3D CADE/CA, Design, and programming.
Experience
1-2 years in the Tool, Jig and Die and sheet-metal manufacturing related industry.
Knowledge of Edgecam Radbend Ver .2022 Sheetmetal-designer 3D, bend 3D. PUNCH 2D is advantageous.
Autodesk inventor 2020
Tool and mould design knowledge.
