RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, develop and design operations for each section (eg electrical u / g crosslinking, tunnels, shafts, related crosslinking).
Use specialized software to support planning programs. Monitor / participate in capital projects to ensure operations are managed effectively. Sign the approval of mechanical and electrical capital projects and AFE related to management. Monitor underground engineering activities. Plan, develop and approve transitions from surface to underground mining operations. Develop appropriate extraction systems where appropriate. Write accurate reports and send them on time. Meet all engineering standards and goals. Execute equipment overhaul program on time and on budget. Develop and implement PPM. Oversee the standards of road maintenance and shop operations. Fill in and rehabilitate assessments for current and disused mining areas. Assist with the Safe Historic Mine Site Reclamation Program.
EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical). Certificate of competence of Electrical Engineer by the Department of Mineral Resources. 8 10 Years of experience in mining engineering operations. Valid driver’s license Project management Ability to use related software and MS Office. Ready to travel (even away from home).
