To be based in Midrand on a permanent basis we are recruiting for a Client Security Manager!
To manage the security services provided to the client by developing, planning, and analysing such services as well as generating security reports.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Grade 12 (essential)
Relevant tertiary education with business subjects (e.g. computer-related field)
A business-related qualification would be advantageous
EXPERIENCE:
Change & incident management experience.
Minimum 5 years management experience in overseeing and managing performance, availability, reliability, and service ability of ICT services across multiple regions and customers on a 24×7 basis, in accordance with international best practices.
Minimum of 5-6 years experience in information security (security operations with onsite security projects and direct audit exposure).
Significant experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP):
o perennial experience in IT security management;
o direct experience in dealing with client engagements;
o experience in dealing with relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
o experience in conducting Information Security and/or IT Audits/assessments for large companies;
o experience in working with internal and external audits and remediating Information Security/IT audits for large companies;
o solid knowledge of network management and network techniques;
o solid experience in system management in the client-server and host-based computing area;
o experience in the operation of computer centres
o strong experience in project management required
o Knowledge and experience in implementing security metrics.
TECHNICAL / LEGAL CERTIFICATION
Internationally recognized Security Certifications e.g. CISM/CISSP/CISA/ISO 27001 LA/etc.
ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, COBIT, and ITGI (IT Governance Institute) frameworks/standards
Knowledge
·ISO 27001 standard
·Knowledge of incident management
·Knoweldge of legal & Regulatory requirements/drivers
·Understanding of the outsourcing marketplace, the IT and/or Telco sector
·Information Security standards, frameworks, technology & trends
·Financial Management principles
·ITIL and other relevant Frameworks

·Procurement procedures and processes
·Strategic understanding of the technical vs business environment
·Solid knowledge of network management and network techniques
·Experience in the operation of computer centres
·Knowledge of physical infrastructure security
