REQUIREMENTS
Trade Test: Fitter and Turner
Grade 12 Certificate (NQF5)
Basic Computer Literacy
Knowledge of relevant maintenance practices/ preventative maintenance/SOP`s
A minimum of 5 years technical and mechanical experience as a Fitter and Turner in a food manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical and hydraulic repairs
Setting up and maintaining auto packer machines
Maintain and repair sea water pumps, gearboxes, motors, interlocking belt conveyors, fans, ice plant equipment, cutting tables palletisers, de-palletisers, and pneumatic cylinders.
Welding plus steel fabrication work
Manage small projects.
Must be a team player with good communication skills.
Adherence to food safety, housekeeping, and safety principles.
