Reform Shopfitters is looking for a skilled boilermaker with the ability to weld and fabricate steel assemblies for the shopfitting industry.
REQUIREMENTS
The Candidate must reside within a 30km radius of Germiston.
The candidate must have his/her Matric certificate.
Proficient in all three welding classes, TIG, MIG and Arc welding. Must be able to set up equipment and operate all three types of welding independently.
Must have good knowledge and experience with grinding.
Must be meticulous in detail to finishing processes such as grinding, fettling, brushing, polishing etc.
Must be able to read drawings and schematic plans to fabricate parts accordingly.
Must be self-driven and able to work alone, plan a production line and prioritise work flow within the steel department.
The candidate must have a good general knowledge of various carbon and non-carbon steels including Mild steels, Stainless steels and Aluminium.
The applicant may not have any current or previous convictions.
Certificates for Welding/grinding/assembling are an added bonus and will be taken into account during the selection process.
If the applicant is shortlisted, the applicant will undergo a practical test to demonstrate his/her proficiency in cutting, welding and grinding.
