JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, within the logistics industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team based in Pietermaritzburg (Umlaas).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance & Upkeep of the fleet Attend to breakdowns.
Standby (attend to call-outs) Completion of Job-cards
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Red seal Qualified Diesel Mechanic with Hydraulic experience
Code 14 Drivers License + Valid PDP – Essential
Must have own reliable transport – Essential.
Minimum 3-5 Years’ experience in a workshop environment Experience in Electrical repairs & Fault Finding.
High quality standards
High safety standards
Have good housekeeping principles.
Must be available to work shifts and extended hours including weekends.
Must be able to work in a pressurised environment.
Proactive towards preventative maintenance
Computer literate
