We are inviting all qualified NCV LEVEL 4 GRADUATES to apply for the 18 months apprenticeship program. The main purpose of this program is to qualify NCV Level 4 graduates as Artisans (TRADE TEST).

THE FUNDED TRADES ARE AS FOLLOWS 

Boilermaker

Welder

Electrical

Fitting and Turning

Fitting

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE OFFERED 

A monthly transport allowance of R2500 for the duration of the program

6 months Institutionalized training

On-the job training at a host company (Production)

Pre-trade test assessment

Trade preparation

Trade testing (1st 2nd 3rd attempt)

2x sets of full safety PPE and safety boots as per trade.

Toolbox as per trade requirements

Logbooks

All trade related training material and support

REQUIREMENTS 

Candidates to have completed their NCV L2, L3, L4 with all 7 subjects passed on each level (21 subjects passed).

Candidate should be a South African citizen. 

Based in Gauteng 

Tembisa, Midrand, Kempton Park, Edenvale, Alexander, Germiston, Benoni, Boksburg ,Daveyton, Springs, Soweto, Brakpan, Bedfordview, Dawn Park, Phumula, Kathorus and other surrounding areas where it will be convenient for daily travel

Should be based with family and not be paying monthly rent.

Be aged between 18 and 35 years.

Qualified between the year 2017 and the year 2021.

Completed their NCV L2, L3, L4 in Gauteng

Qualifying candidates should send in the following documents:

1–2-page curriculum vitae

Certified copy of identification not older than three months

Certified original copies of NCV L2, L3 and L4

Candidates who are still waiting for either one of their original certificates to be issued by the college or department, should submit a certified copy of their original National Statement of Symbols together with a letter from the TVET College confirming that candidate has completed their NCV Level 2,3 or 4 and is currently awaiting their certificate. Letter should be on a TVET letterhead, must be signed, dated, and stamped by the college. The letter should reflect candidates’ full names, identification number and student number.

 PROGRESS REPORTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

 If names appearing on the proof of residence are not that of the applying candidate, then an affidavit by the person whose details appear on the proof of residence must be submitted together with their copy of a certified identification not older than three months. Confirming that candidate lives with the person appearing on the proof of residence and there is a family relation and candidate is not a rent paying tenant. 

Candidate should also submit an affidavit confirming that they do not currently pay monthly rent at their place of residence and is residing with family/relatives etc. And neither will they use their monthly transport allowance for rental purposes. They will only use it for transport and personal upkeep for the duration of the program.

Bank confirmation letter for account that will be used to receive monthly transport allowance.
