Job description:
CAB Foods, a leading bakery supplies store based in Somerset West is looking for a confident and passionate Retail Shop Assistant. At CAB Foods, you are more than just a shop assistant and cashier. You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and you might be the first, last, and sometimes only shop assistant that customers interact with.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service driven.
- Excellent communication skills (Able to speak English and Afrikaans).
- 2 or more years cashier experience.
- Experience in visual merchandising.
- Stock taking and ordering experience.
- Computer Literacy.
- Very well presented.
- Must be available to work Monday – Saturday.
- Must reside in the surrounding areas in the Western Cape.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cashier – Stand for long periods of time while checking out customers quickly and accurately.
- Keep your area clean and presentable.
- Answer customer questions and help them with their needs, giving great customer service
- Learn about the products that you sell.
- Be available to assist across the store.
- Take responsibility for filling of shelves.
- Pricing of items on shelves
- General merchandising
- General housekeeping
