Poultry Biosecurity Auditor and Poultry Farmers day trainer and co-ordinator
The position requires the successful applicant to make contact with small-scale poultry farmers in KZN and conduct bio-security audits, farmers days and training event.
Compilation and submission of weekly and monthly report with photos
Attend weekly group meeting via Zoom
Skill set required
Vibrant and enthusiastic personality aged 25 or over
Poultry qualification and word, excel and PowerPoint
Good communication skills – able to communicate in local language
Knowledge and understanding of poultry production
Send-driven and motivated
Ability to work independent but also a team player
Driver license and own phone required
Ability to spend some night away from home
Ability to plan and co-ordinate events
The position is compensated with a basic stipend and cell phone data. Accommodation costs away from home are covered.
Training will be given in putting structures into place.
