Clothing Junction recruiting for Trainee Managers. We are looking for full-time Trainee store managers/ manageress’s within the entire Western Cape and Limpopo provinces. We are looking for the successful candidates with flexible hours to start on 31 May 2022 or as soon thereafter as possible
Salary is negotiable and will be dependent on experience in retail and knowledge of the clothing/fashion industry.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
• Opening and closing of the store
• Engaging customers and offering styling advice
• Merchandising and general tidiness of the store
• Stock control and Point of Sale transactions
• To personally conduct hanger counts and submit to Area Manager accordingly
• To ensure monthly sales targets are achieved and exceeded
• Motivate and build staff morale to increase sales generation.
• Management of daily Operations
• Management of cash-flow. Ensure that the standard of administration and procedures in store are met.
• Ensuring that sales are reconciled daily
• Management and supporting store staff
• Assisting with any additional administrative duties as required by the owners

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Clothing Junction is looking for a well-spoken and presentable individual
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English. Additional languages will be an advantage
• Professional demeanour yet welcoming and sociable style
• Previous Retail Experience
• Clothing Junction’s culture is dynamic and cultured. As such, on the job training conducted by Senior Management will occur. The successful candidate must have the ability to continuously learn whilst ensuring an implementation plan.
• Managerial experience and experience in retail will be advantageous

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS
• Minimum requirement: Senior Certificate
