COMPLIANCE OFFICER (EE POSITION)

PERMANENT POSITION TO START A.S.A.P
SALARY: R40 000.00 OR MORE IF EXPERIENCE ALLOWS

THE PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD

JOB SPECIFICATION:
Draft all internal policies and procedures in conjunction with relevant Director/s to ensure compliance with all statutory/legal /contractual requirements.
Regularly review and update all internal policies and procedures with relevant Director/s to ensure compliance with any amended statutory/legal /contractual requirements.
Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements relevant to the Firm such as POPIA, FICA, LPA, OHSA, COIDA, BCEA etc.
Educate and train employees on revised / new policies and procedures, regulations and legislation
Develop audience appropriate training material
Coordinate and maintain training records of all training sessions conducted
Perform ongoing monitoring reviews across the Firm’s branches and departments
Remain abreast with the latest legal and risk legislation to keep the Firm updated
Research and analyse future risks associated with the Firm, which includes any existing and/or emerging legislation that could impact the Firm
Review all contracts/SLAs or any other documentation where the Firm has committed itself to:
o monitor legal obligations under agreements to ensure compliance;
o assess the legal implications that need to be brought to management’s attention.
Contract/SLA File Management to ensure that we are possession of all final signed versions of contracts/SLAs
Assess company operations to establish any compliance risk
General administration tasks associated with legal matters, audits and due diligence etc.
Coordinate, support, participate and manage the firm’s responses to RFPs/Tenders and ensure compliance with RFP/Tender requirements
Submit quarterly reports to the Board
Attend to FICA reporting, preparation and submission as well as sanction screening.
Attend to and respond on all compliance related matters from all of our clients/State departments /Regulatory Authorities
Assist with preparation and relevant submissions for regulatory inspections and on-site reviews from our clients/the various State Departments/Regulatory authorities
Actively engage with all staff members and assist with all compliance-related issues or concerns timeously
Manage all compliance and score card goals in respect of BEEE and EE and other required compliance requirements with quarterly reports to the Board
Attend to any ad hoc requests from the directors
