Purpose of the job:
The Security officer maintains safety and security standards for the complex, providing a safe environment for all employees and guests.
Qualifications & Experience
Matric or Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification, At least 5 years security-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CCTV experience and investigations will be an advantage
Psira C-grade qualification
Job requirements:
Compliance
Ensuring that the Gambling Board Policies and Procedures are adhered to, to the letter.
Ensures adherence to GGB requirements
Ensuring that all access control rules are adhered to.
Security
Ensuring the correct and authorised issuing and securing of all keys.
Escorting of high-security keys
Monitoring of CCTV equipment
Access control
Reporting
Report all non-compliance and any potential risks
Daily incident reports to the Security Manager and all other relevant parties
