DESCRIPTION
A franchise giant in the automotive industry is looking for a qualified and professional mechanic to join the team.
HOMEWORK
Light motor vehicle, SUV and 4×4 service.
General mechanical repairs.
Inspect and report vehicle faults and defects.
Vehicle driving test
Be responsible for all tools and equipment, both yours
toolbox and workshop tools.
Hang up tools after use.
Raise the vehicles with the security measures in place.
Hoist operating.
Use hydraulic and power tools with care and safety.
Cleaning the workshops before leaving.
Execute all work safely.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Matrix certificate
Valid SETA papers
Relevant qualifications (red stamp / commercial certificate /
N3) and endorsement certificates
ABILITIES
Excellent diagnostic skills
Deep knowledge of the systems and tools necessary to perform a procedure.
Strong understanding of safety precautions
Demonstrated ability to determine the causes of errors and good judgment in resolution
Strong ability to determine what kind of tools will be used in what situation
Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform troubleshooting procedures
Ability to operate precision machines and material handling equipment.
Excellent ability to perform all of the above, taking into account the standards and procedures of the company.
Able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience as a vehicle mechanic
Driver’s license
