The Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa (PSSA) offers scholarships to full-time pharmacy students. Only students registered in a School / Department / College of Pharmacy will be considered. Students applying for this scholarship must be graduate students with a PSSA membership.
Currently, PSSA membership is free. To apply for this membership, applicants should email nitsa@pssa.org.za for an application form.
REQUIREMENTS
Full-time pharmacy students enrolled in a pharmacy school / department / college
Must be a graduate student
Graduate student must be a member of PSSA (currently membership is free; email nitsa@pssa.org.za for application form)
South African citizens with a valid South African identification number
Academic potential

Keep in mind:
No conditions are attached to the awards regarding post-qualification requirements. However, if the recipient of an award interrupts his studies for any reason during the award year, the award will be immediately reimbursable in the manner that the Foundation may decide.
The scholarships awarded are paid to the institution where the recipient is studying. After deduction of fees and other legitimate expenses, the institution will pay the balance to the recipient.
Scholarship recipients must submit a new application each year.

Keep in mind:
All information contained in the financial section of the application form will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Make sure all supporting documentation is attached, i.e. ID, proof of income, academic record, etc.
The Committee’s decision is final and no correspondence will be held on its decisions.
