Job Objective
To ensure that manufactured products are safely prepared and moved for transport
Key Duties:
•Perform packaging operations as per the customer orders.
•Operate packaging machinery effectively to avoid any accidents.
•Complete packaging orders within the deadlines.
•Clean machines and work area at the end of every shift.
•Ensure that machines are working properly and safely.
•Complete daily production reports and submit to Team Leader.
•Load bags and cartons on pallets manually as needed.
•Modify packaging and weigh bags to meet customer specifications.
•Ensure in compliance with operational policies and safety standards.
•Assist colleagues in their job duties when needed.
•Notify Team Leader about equipment and production problems.
Key Requirements:
•Matric/ Grade 12
•2 years production experience in the chemical or metallurgical industry.
•Understanding of production processes and safety procedures within the production environment.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
