Location is Pietermaritzburg
The Assistant will be initially be trained in the different agricultural operations and, later, will be part of the management team.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
• Reception and unloading of livestock. • Evaluation of the daily health of the animals. • Administer medications / vaccines. • Immersion of cattle. • Supervision of staff. • General agricultural duties. • Coordinate and control the movement of livestock. • Classification of cattle for slaughter.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a general agricultural background, relevant experience with livestock, and the ability to speak Zulu and English.
BENEFITS
Salary varies between R10,000 to R15,000pm depending on skills and experience. Housing provided on the farm.
