WORK DESCRIPTION
The Citizen currently has a Direct Marketing Sales Representative vacancy in their sales department. The right candidate will be part of a forward-thinking and dynamic team and will be responsible for selling ad opportunities to direct advertisers.
It is the ideal opportunity for an energetic, motivated and passionate person about sales. The selected candidate will report directly to the Direct Advertising Sales Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Make sure targets are met and exceeded
Grow new and existing businesses by effectively identifying new opportunities
Needs analysis
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum qualification: Senior National Certificate (Grade 12) or similar
Minimum of six years experience in a direct selling environment, related to the specific portfolio that will be discussed during the interview
The sales or marketing diploma (IMM / AAA) will be an advantage
Market knowledge and perception
Strong customer service capabilities
Strong negotiation skills
Must be able to establish and maintain business relationships
Proven referrals in terms of customer base within the portfolio field
Be able to probe cold and must be target oriented.
Strong administrative and planning skills and computer skills
Proven experience in digital sales
Tenacity and initiative
Possess reliable transportation and driver’s license: non-negotiable
Own cell phone
