ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The program involves hands-on tax learning and development support and assessment and leads to the Registered Tax Technician Occupational Diploma (NQF 6). This program ensures that you will be ready to work and will improve your employment options.

This is a 2-year qualification and the successful completion of each semester and its subcomponents are required along with work experience to enter the final exam administered by the South African Institute of Tax Professionals and earn a professional designation with them.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This is a FASSET funded program, so you can apply if you meet the following criteria:
You must have a medical certificate stating your disability (section C of the ITR-DD form, that is, confirmation of disability diagnosis).
Must have a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with 50% passing in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literature)
You must be unemployed or on a temporary contract such as an internship. Autonomous self-employed professionals will be considered.
Preference will be given to students with some form of tertiary education in the field of accounting and taxation (for example, successfully completing the first year of a BCom degree).
