Candidate is expected to:
• responsible for keeping forklifts in safe, working order.
• conduct inspections, order parts, make repairs, handle preventative maintenance, troubleshoot problems and keep logs of your work.
• Diagnose and repair equipment, to include liquid propane, gas, and diesel engines and lifting systems
• Makes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the customer’s equipment
• Properly block, chock and chain equipment, and disassemble equipment as needed to facilitate major component removal and repair
• Expertly analyses and diagnoses customer equipment problems and breakdowns
• Inspects, diagnoses and isolates vehicle and equipment malfunctions
Candidate must have:
• East Rand based applicant
• FORKLIFT LICENSE NON NEGOTIABLE
• Matric
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Forklift Technician is essential
• Previous experience in the industry
• Qualifications as a Forklift Technician
• Drivers license
