DESCRIPTION
A food manufacturing company based in southeast Johannesburg has a CFO position.
The person must have 5 years of experience publishing articles in a food manufacturing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
CA (SA) with 5 years of post article experience in a FMCG (food manufacturing) environment.
Expert knowledge of management and cost accounting principles.
Detailed understanding and knowledge of SAP modules, in particular the SAP-FI & CO module
Solid knowledge of accounting standards and principles, specifically International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Relevant legislation, including but not limited to:
Companies act
Tax law
VAT Law
Publication of balance sheet accounting
Microsoft Office suite
Foreign currency markets and instruments
Business Information Systems
Business risk model
Legislation and terms of insurance policies and claims
Recruitment and selection
Performance management systems
Financial management measurement systems
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 years in the position of senior financial management. (Applicants must be CA (SA)).
Circumstantial Aspects: Travel, working hours (shifts) etc.
Ability to work flexible hours, possess the ability to relocate
Ability to adapt to multiple demands, change work priorities, ambiguity, adversity and change.
