KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Drive long and local distances to deliver goods to customers/clients and stores on time.
Load and unload goods.
Record cargo deliveries.
Refuel and clean vehicle.
Report road incidents to the Operations and Warehouse Manager
Follow traffic laws and driving rules all the time.
Inspect trucks and record issues.
Follow accident procedures.
Keep an activities log and log hours.
Report mechanical problems to Manager.
Plan routes using GPS system – Smart Phone Essential.
Inspect trucks on a daily basis for cleanliness and good working conditions.
Report the trucks, bakkies and cars if it requires maintenance/service.
Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Code 10 driver’s license.
Valid PrDP.
Grade 12 (matric).
2 years long distance driving experience.
