Location-Durban /willing to Relocate to Durban.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Contract Management of civil & structural infrastructure for Building services (Internal wet services & External Infrastructure) and Township services (Residential Roads, Bulk Earthworks, Sanitation, Water Reticulation & Stormwater). Preparation of reports for all stages of project implementation, including inception, feasibility/ business plans, and collation of concept & viability, design development, tender & procurement, close-out reports etc.

Overall contract/project management, including interaction with clients, contractors & other stakeholders, attendance of progress meetings, preparation of payment certificates, cashflows, progress reports, updating risk registers, invoices, dealing with contractual claims etc.

Management of multi-disciplinary teams, junior staff and implementation of designs, reports etc. 

Experience in compiling reports for business plans, grant-funding and multi-disciplinary projects.

Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, other disciplines and various other stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS 

Professional registration with ECSA as Pr Eng/Tech or with SACPCMP as a Pr. CPM. 

Minimum B.Sc / B Eng / BTech Degree in Civil Engineering. 

Minimum Ten (10) years practical experience in management of Civil/Structural infrastructure, contract management, quality control monitoring, report writing etc.

Experience in Civil 3D and AutoCAD software will be an added advantage 

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. Proficiency in isiZulu advantageous.

Minimum Code B (08) drivers license
