Aspen invites unemployed graduates to apply for the 2021 Business Analyst Graduate / Internship Program.
Internship application closing date: April 19, 2021
Place of internship: Gauteng
The Business Analyst graduate will be employed in a graduate program to improve their skills in Analytics, as the person chosen will have this as their main interest.
The Business Analyst graduate will go through a robust training process while being exposed to basic reporting under supervision. They will work under the guidance of an experienced analyst.
This person would be exposed to the various departments with BEX to obtain information on the collaborative work required within the division. The second level of exposure would be to the Business in stages to align with the business support aspect of this role and understand where the role fits within the organization.
As a graduate, he will be exposed to the following:
Spend time with marketing: one week in each division, will be coordinated with the corresponding boss.
Basic Business Analysis – Look at the interactions within Business Excellence and how different teams fit together and collaborate
Training provides data sets and is required to complete basic data extracts.
Gain an understanding of source data vs. created models
Meeting with external departments involved
Exposure to the BI department to understand how data is incorporated into useful business models
Assistance at work while learning
Accompanying meetings
Generating simple reports
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and PowerPoint
Basic skills in effective verbal and written communication with various groups, including business partners, technical partners.
The ability to interact with colleagues.
Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Matric / Grade 12
Must have full relevant engineering degree /B.Com /B.Bus Science / BSc. computer’s science
