OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
The purpose of the internship is to provide work experience to the right candidate to provide professional project management support on multiple projects to a centralized project team while developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all SANRAL stakeholders to ensure the required business results .
A bachelor’s degree in project management / office administration or an equivalent relevant qualification.
Proficiency in English.
Works well under pressure.
Ability to stay calm in volatile situations.
A postgraduate degree in Project Management / Office Administration or equivalent relevant qualification.
A valid driver’s license
Ability to manage stakeholders of various origins.
Multilingual in two vernacular languages.
Capture of the requests received for the establishment of the database of the N2 and N3 program.
Provide the necessary administrative support on the daily and monthly report updates related to the N2 and N3 update.
Scheduling and managing weekly / monthly progress meetings for packages 10 and 14 of this program N2 / L3 (monitoring of program diary)
Take minutes at progress meetings and keep a record of those minutes.
Schedule Project Liaison Committee meetings and provide necessary administrative support, such as attendance at coordinating committee meetings / securing meeting venues, etc.
Maintain a progress log of each construction contract and a record of issues related to each construction package Provide all other administrative tasks required in the N2 and N3 upgrade schedule
Provide limited technical information on projects when the project manager is not available;
Coordinate the logistics for the project meetings;
Attend public consultations;
Ensuring ongoing professionalism with staff and stakeholders;
