Afrimat is seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic Diesel Clerk to join the team at Afrimat Jenkins Mine near Kathu
Key competencies: Grade 12 Valid driver’s licence- Code 10+PDP Good clerical and administrative ability Good communication skills Characteristics: Ÿ Ÿ Ÿ Ÿ Passionate about the company and their work Team player Shows commitment and takes ownership of work Good planning and decision-making skills
Responsibilities: Receive diesel when delivered. Check for accuracy of delivery. Issue diesel from pumps and on-site. Complete records as required and submit to Finance. Complete Fuel Issue Record fully for each fill capturing all required information. Ensure all moving plant are filled during the afternoon for working the night shift following the procedure. Always follow safety procedures and only do mobile filling in a safe area. Measure all diesel storage devices (tanks and trunks) daily. Candidates to ensure that they are fully medically fit to perform work on mines in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
