Saint-Gobain in partnership with Youthbuild are offering a 12-month learnership at their ceiling and partitioning academy. This is aimed at addressing the critical skills shortage and high youth unemployment rate in South Africa.
Requirements for applicants:
Must be between the ages of 18-29
Grade 12 senior certificate with English and mathematics
Read and write English
Do basic mathematics and measurement
Applicants with a t certificate or at least 1 year experience in any area of carpentry, electrical, plumbing or construction will be preferred
Applicants who do not have their senior certificate but who have at least 6 months to 1 years’ experience in the construction industry will be considered
