Engineering Workshop Foreman – Isando
Education and Qualifications:
• Matric
• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering
• Good understanding of Welding
• Good Leadership qualities
• Must have Tekla/X Steel, understanding of Steel Drawings
• Substantial experience in Fabrication of Structural Steel
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage entire workshop of staff and meet production
deadlines
• Plan the routing of product lots through the factory
• Do machine loading and worker allocation
• Managing all consumables and their costs
• Ensure that men and machines are fully utilized and working
efficiently
• Setting housekeeping standards for all production units and
quality standards for all production activities
• Embracing safety and ensuring compliance at all times
• Training and development of all staff
