Location: Wadeville, Germiston
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company polices and visions.
Stock control – managing of volumes, movement and ordering.
Warehouse control – managing of picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, administration.
Manage warehouse staff.
Implementation of systems to improve efficiencies.
Utilizing warehouse space to full capacity
System/warehousing improvement suggestions
Weekly/monthly reporting to Head Office management
Attend management meetings.
Customer contact/warehouse walkthroughs
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained within the warehouse.
Annual/ad hoc stock take involvement/manage processes and preparation.
Experience:
Previous staff management experience
Previous stock control experience
Proficient in excel, numeracy, English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
Team player
Safety minded approach.
Excellent communication skills, motivational skills, delegation skills, ability to mediate and problem solve.
Previous training courses, warehouse/stock control systems,inventory experience advantage.
Organizational skills
Attention to detail.
