Qualifications / Requirements:
Must understand warehouse functions and process
Minimum of 1 year’s warehouse experience
Minimum of Grade 12
Computer literacy essential
Knowledge of:
Warehouse management processes and procedures
Inventory management processes and procedures
Operational systems and procedures
Skills:
Security conscious
Attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Numerical skills
Key Performance Areas:
Ensure right stock and quantity is received as per put away list
Ensure stock is packed away in the right bin location and verify accuracy of Put away list
Verify accuracy of bin locations daily
Ensure the accurate stock transfers and relocations
Plan bin locations in accordance with space availability, dimension and weight
All items received from staging to be checked and packed away into locations
Maintain Housekeeping standards
Proactive bin replenishment
