Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following positions in Port of EAST LONDON (RoRo, Container and bulk). The successful candidates will be responsible for strict adherence to the required rules and regulations, company rules safety rules and code of conduct.
• Drivers x 20
• Lashers / GW x 36
• Gangway / Banksman x 8
• Tally Clerk x 1
• Flagman / Ramp Indicator x 6
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 years relevant working experience.
• Driver’s license must be two years old.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Loading and off-loading of motor vehicles from vessels.
• Providing container and bulk stevedoring services.
• To work 12 hours whenever there is a ship working.
• Checking quality.
• Ensuring safety requirements are met from time to time.
