Location : Western Cape, Paarl
Our client, a Wine Estate located in the Paarl area, is currently looking for an experienced stock controller to join their team.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of two years in a similar position.
Qualification in F&B or Stock Controlling.
Quantitative and analytical skills.
Proficient in computer and inventory software system Pastel. (Novtel will be an advantage)
Experience with manufacturing of inventory in accounting software system (Pastel).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.
Ability to prioritize and manage high volume workload.
Ability to cope with pressure.
Excellent written and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recording of food and beverage costs
Inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately.
Purchasing and managing stock levels
Manage purchases vs budget.
Manage returns / credits.
Maintain good relationship with suppliers.
Maintain correct buying protocols.
Stock taking
Maintain a neat and orderly storeroom.
Create Bill of Material for each new stock item for sign off.
Manage Pastel and Novtel integration.
