We are looking for a Qualified NAIL TECHNICIAN to join the Sorbet community and become part of our family.
The successful candidate must be immaculately groomed, professional in manner, highly detail-orientated, customer centric and hygienic A strong work ethic and proactive approach to solving problems is essential.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in the beauty industry
Be able to do Manicures (french + colour) , Pedicures (french + colour) acrylic tips, acrylic overlays, gel tips and overlays.
Accredited Beauty Degree or Diploma qualification
A passion for great service
South African ID, Aslam Visa or valid work permit
Key skills needed:
Able to:
Accurately analyse guests needs and offer all treatments expected of grading level, carried out to the highest possible quality level
Maintain a hygienic working environment
Advise guests on the appropriate treatment according to their needs
Advise guests on the appropriate retail products for home care
Actively up-sell and cross sell treatments and retail products
Maintain and care for equipment and work tools entrusted to you
Regularly attend and participate in the required training modules
Always maintain a positive, friendly and empathetic relationship with all guests.
Work as a proactive, team-player and cope well under pressure within the confines of a very busy store
Work well with franchisee to achieve sales, service and business objectives
Assist from time to time in additional general operational work, as required
Work 9-6 and 10-7 shifts on rotation
