Main purpose of the job:
Doing a visual and dimensional inspection on steel and aluminium canopies after finishing checking the welds as well as the finishing work on canopies, filling in of job cards and paperwork, working together in a team to achieve the targets.
Requirements and Experience:
• At least 2-years’ quality experience
• Basic Understanding on Quality
• Matric
Duties and responsibilities:
• Working with the Quality team, such as the Quality manager and Qc inspectors
• Visual and dimensional checks on canopies (Cracks, miss welds, holes etc.)
• Check welds and finishing quality
• Filling in of job card after inspection
• Working as a team with the other quality inspectors to reach targets
• Reporting discrepancies and problems to the superior
• Adhere to company guidelines and procedures
• Able to work with a measuring tape
