DESCRIPTION
Currently, a company specializing in IT is looking to hire a junior network intern who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our computer networks.
The successful candidate will ensure that they are in charge of overseeing the performance of maintenance to ensure that the system is operating at full capacity and with digital security.
Responsibilities:
Install software and hardware
Assess the organization’s network and computer system requirements.
Repairs and updates when necessary
Keep an eye on digital security
Users on board to the network.
Maintain that all systems are operational.
Train users in software and hardware
Analyze and collect data to optimize performance.
Troubleshoot problems with the system
Monitor the wide area network and the local area network.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 Diploma / degree in computer science, computer science or similar field
Excellent knowledge of computer network infrastructure.
Ability to manage, deploy, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
Knowledge of network infrastructure protocols and application transport.
Capable of creating network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network communication systems.
Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and outside the organization.
Ability to think about problems and visualize solutions.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
flexible and reliable when needed.
Experience in administration of wide area networks and local area networks.
