GENERAL PURPOSE
You will be responsible for graphics design at the client’s head office. Incumbent will be responsible with designing the process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
RESPPONSIBILITIES
- Create and lay out graphics for the suitable platform (social media, screens etc.
- Communications back on briefs and status when briefed
-Weekly status report on briefs - Provide print ready files for projects as per production specifications
- Interpret a creative brief and be able to develop a concept
- Ensure that all briefs are properly saved on the Marketing server
- Monthly reporting on all design briefs (conceptual explanations and logic)
- Continuous learning and improvement on design elements and trends
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Matric & Diploma or degree in Graphic Design
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 2/3 working experience in a similar role
- Competence in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign)
- Competence in MS Office
- Good knowledge of the print process – set up your own artwork for print.
- Good understanding and use of the English language
