INTRODUCTION
A vacancy exists for a Ward Clerk based at Life Beacon Bay Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager, Annatjie Hendriks. The successful candidate will contribute towards the optimal functioning of the nursing team through effective: interdepartmental liaising, communication and administrative support to the nursing team. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for overall control of stock and billing in the Unit.
REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12.
• Sound knowledge of stock control in a hospital environment.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Time management ability.
• Knowledge of emergency plans and actions.
