Job vacancy for the position of a Sectional Title Junior Portfolio Manager in the Port Elizabeth office.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with a passion for the property industry to join our team as a Sectional Title Junior Portfolio Manager that will manage a portfolio of Sectional Title and Home Owner’s Association complexes.
Suitable candidates will attend scheduled meetings (mostly after hours), deal with complex maintenance, service providers, collections of levies, creditor payments, complex employee management, liaising with trustees and directors and other general requirements.

Job Description:

  1. Daily management of trust funds and investment funds
  2. Ensuring that all complexes within the portfolio are insured and premiums are paid on time
  3. Continuous enhancement of knowledge of SA property laws
  4. Ensuring that compliant contractors are servicing the complexes and are paid timeously
  5. Awareness of all transfer of units within the portfolio and management of same
  6. Facilitating collection procedures and reporting to trustees and debtors and cash management
  7. Facilitation of staff payroll (HOA and Body Corporate) compliance and payment processes
  8. Ensuring all complex documents are archived as well as correctly filed within the company database
  9. Preparation of general meetings in line with the Sectional Title Act and compliance as approved by the company
  10. Continuous liaison and guidance to trustees and directors in relation to complex matters and financial reporting
  11. Statutory notice compliance and awareness of quorum requirements relevant to meetings
  12. Financial management of portfolio of complexes and sign off on complex control schedule as completion of same
  13. Ensuring compliance of statutory requirements for all complexes
  14. Accountable of internal audit score and closure of outstanding gaps identified on action log
  15. Management of PM deadlines
  16. Management of support team processes
