A fantastic opportunity currently exists for a young individual to join our dynamic and successful company as a Junior HR & Payroll Administrator to support the HR department.

Individuals with the following experience and knowledge need apply!

The Job:

Provide an effective and efficient service to HR team and business by managing HR systems and effectively co-ordinating and reporting on HR activities and processes, with a focus on HR Administration.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to –
Payroll Administration: VIP Premier
Dealing with salary related queries
Processing of Time & Attendance
Eco-Time support to the stores
Uniform distribution
Recruitment admin
HR administrative duties, organizing and updating training schedules, shortlisting and scheduling of interviews, IOD reporting & attending to queries, Labour/ Health inspections documentation & resolving general employee relations issues.

The Person:

You must be able to deal with a variety of personalities and keep calm in tense situations and should be approachable, fair, and have good multitasking abilities.

Good communication , office/clerical, administrative and interpersonal skills are of great importance

High integrity, tact, a positive attitude, and an ability to maintain absolute confidentiality

Minimum requirements
Grade 12 Senior Certificate
Minimum of 3 years experience working in HR (negotiable)
Professional Skills and Knowledge
Computer literacy is essential (Windows)
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel)
Excellent Administration skills
Highly Organized

Abilities/ attributes
Organised, thorough and systematic orientated
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to accurately follow instructions
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
Sage VIP Premier payroll experience advantageous
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Be able to work on deadlines
A high level of accuracy and numerical skills
A high service-orientation and enjoy working in a team
Sound knowledge of payroll
HR Qualification (Advantageous)
At least 2-3 year’s experience in HR Payroll Administration
