IT Technician Required in Linbro Business Park
CM Value Added Services is a national Network who physically constructs and maintains our own infrastructure in South Africa and a few African countries.
We are looking for an IT Technician to join the team. We provide many opportunities for growth and training in an exciting career.
Job Description:
• Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Assist with servers and storage systems as required.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Providing technical support internally and externally (for clients)
• Setting up accounts for new users.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate IT Asset Registry.
• Assist with backup/restore/setup of new and existing client/staff mobile devices such as phones and tablets.
• Manage the biometrics server/service for new and existing users for clients and internally.
• Testing new technology.
Skills required: (Junior)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT role.
• Good IT and technical background
• Basic understanding / knowledge of networking
• Mikrotik experience would be a great advantage
• Any IT and networking qualifications / certificates or experience would be an advantage (A+, N+, CCENT, CCNA, MTCNA, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP etc.)
• You should please live within a reasonable distance from Linbro Park and have your own transport.
