Independent Field Advertiser (IFA) invites suitable applicants for the scholarship program for 2021.

Closing date: April 30, 2021

The IFA scholarship program has supported more than 125 scholars since its inception in 2009. With the help of the program, deserving recipients were able to attend some of South Africa’s leading institutions. IFA has invested more than 15 million rand to date and hopes to help more in the coming years.
Scholarship coverage amounts to R60,000 per year, which are paid directly to the relevant learning institution. Beneficiaries will have access to financing for fees, accommodation, equipment and books.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be in the first or second year of undergraduate studies at a tertiary institution accredited by the Department of Education
You do not receive any other scholarship aid
You must be able to complete your qualification in the minimum number of years
The parent or legal guardian must be an active member of IFA for the duration of the beneficiary’s studies
You must not be over 21 years old by April 30, 2021.
Must have achieved at least a 60% average in their final 11th and / or 12th grade results

HOW TO APPLY

Eligible candidates who wish to apply will need to download the application form via the link below. Be sure to attach certified copies of the following supporting documents:

Valid South African ID
Grade 12 results, or applicable progress report, or Matrix / NSC results if grade 12 completed
Grade 11 results
Progress Report for Undergraduate Freshmen
Pay stubs from the employed parent or legal guardian; affidavits if you are unemployed
For Self-Employed Parents / Guardians, Submit Most Recent Financial Statement
Motivation letter from parent / legal guardian
Death certificates if the parents are deceased
