REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree (Foundation Phase Teaching and/or Early Childhood Teaching) + an Honours in either Foundation Phase Teaching or Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8).
Primary Teaching Experience is required. Tertiary Lecturing Experience would be an advantage. The undergraduate qualification must include modules in Foundation Phase Teaching. The Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF 8) must include modules in Foundation Phase Teaching with a focus on Movement / Physical Education in the Foundation Phase.
School teaching experience in component subjects is required.
Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level.
Training & Development: 3 years (Required).
Teaching: 3 years (Required).
