Job description
Scarab provides top-end finance and accounting services to SMEs in the design, construction & retail industries in Africa and the UK. We are a team of charactered accountants who partner with SMEs, providing financial directorship, management accounting and customised financial systems to enable them to reach their full potential.

Scarab aims to enhance SMEs scalability and business processes through innovative and customized solutions. We build platforms to enable growth. We have worked with SME’s in UK, Middle East and Africa for over 19 years and are currently invested in businesses in the construction, retail, design and financial industries.

Scarab needs a young energetic financial analyst to help fulfill its mandate to its clients. The person would be dealing with clients on a daily basis ensuring the numbers reflect the reality of the business and assist in making important strategic decisions to help grow the businesses.
Key tasks include:
Assist in providing financial management to our clients
Ensure month-end cut-off procedures, management reports, etc are produced accurately and on time
Perform e-filing processes and payroll processing
Financial analysis
Help develop new systems for existing and new clients
There is lots of room for career progression and growth for someone willing to take responsibility and learn.

Requirements
Back ground in accounting – degree in relevant subjects from reputable University is critical.
Strong knowledge of excel is a must.
Knowledge of Xero and Simple pay is advantageous.
Professional manner and ethic.
Speak good English
