Leading tour operator and safari accommodation specialist is looking for a dynamic travel graduate for an entry-level position.
Requirements include:
•Diploma in tourism/hospitality or equivalent
•Minimum 1 year of industry experience (either tour operations or hotel bookings)
•Proficiency in using reservations systems and understanding of STO/rack rates
•Professional-level English communication skills
•Must reside in or near southern suburbs
Tasks include:
•Correspondence with clients, agents, and suppliers
•Bookings and payments, rates negotiations, quality control, STO contracts
•Descriptions of properties, routes, rates, and standardising /recording product information
•Analysing sales figures & competitiveness of existing programs
•Finalizing route descriptions and supplier details
•Arranging site inspections
•Responding timeously and professionally to enquiries
•Confirming availability and following up on provisional bookings
•Attending workshops and marketing shows as needed
•Handling complaints
•General admin, such as assisting with rooming lists and invoicing
•Annual costings
•Customer feedback
•Analyse competitiveness & sales figures of existing products
•Assisting with some general marketing material
