Education Assistants (EAs) and General Assistants (GAs) NEW positions opening
Salary: R5 500 – R8 000 per month
END OF PHASE Ill OF THE PRESIDENTIAL YOUTH EMPLOYMENT INTERVENTION (PYEl) IN THE BASIC EDUCATION SECTOR AND PLANNING FOR PHASE IV.
Phase Ill of the PYEI which commenced on 1 April 2022 is to expire on 31 August 20.
The current cohort of Assistants must be reminded that their contract will not be extended by the Department for any period beyond this date.
Schools are discouraged from allowing Assistants to volunteer as that may create an expectation that the youth would be employed in the next phase.
Phase IV is targeting a new cohort of youth.
Principals and School Governing Bodies must alert the youth from within the school community who comply with the following requirements to register now on https://sayouth.datafree.co/Home/Index/EN
Applications will commence from 22 August 2022 until 12 September 2022.
