The Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) seeks the services of a talented, self-driven, experienced and highly motivated citizen of Botswana to fill the following vacant position:

VACANCY: Assessment Centre/Development Centre Administrator

SALARY SCALE: D2 (P291,108.00 – P321,012.00) per annum.

LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS PROFILE:

To be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must have a;

 Degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration.

EXPERIENCE:

 Candidates must have at least ten (10) years post qualification experience in Human Resources Management in the Public Service or Parastatal organisations, two (2) years of which should have been served at D3 level or equivalent.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide logistical support for the Public Service Assessment Centre.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Briefs candidates on the assessment process.
  2. Provides Assessors, Role Players and candidates with required instructions.
  3. Responds to customers’ request for Assessment Centre/Development Centre information.
  4. Draws candidates, assessors and role players rosters.
  5. Prepares and sends invitations and Assessment Centre/Development Centre materials to candidates.
  6. Procures services and materials for the Assessment Centre/Development Centre process.
  7. Maintains the general upkeep of the Assessment Centre/Development Centre by coordinating all office operation services.
  8. Maintains an up-to-date list of trained assessors and role players.
  9. Captures candidates’ assessment results into the database.
  10. Prepares draft budget estimates for logistics of the centre.
