CLOSING DATE FOR DCS LEARNERSHIP APPLICATIONS EXTENDED
Due to an overwhelming response to the learnership opportunities, the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has deemed it necessary to extend the closing date to 15
February 2023.
This extension will allow prospective learners to file their application forms with ease and be protected from unscrupulous actors who are always eager to take advantage of the vulnerable.
Access to application forms has also been simplified by making them available at all correctional centres across the country. No hogging of application forms will be allowed, thereby ensuring that one person will be issued with one form and those submitting completed forms will be expected to fill in their details on the submission register.
It is important to follow the instructions as detailed by the advert in terms of the facility of interest and the applicable reference number.
Once more, DCS is calling upon members of the public to refrain and outright refuse to pay any money for Leamership Application Forms as this is unlawful and will never be a prerequisite for placement. There are no third parties or middle agents appointed to recruit nor process leamership applications.

It has to be re-emphasised that DCS officials assisting with the process of submissions are not supposed to ask for money or any favour of kind.
