Clicks has an exciting opportunity available to complete an Apprenticeship Program to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant. The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Successfully complete apprenticeship training contracts at a registered Clicks pharmacy and with an approved tutor
Attend required training interventions and successfully complete proficiency assessments.
Submit a portfolio of evidence
Provide support to the healthcare team at one of Click’s pharmacies under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and within the legal scope of practice as established by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Math (or 60% in Math Literacy); 50% in English and a pass in Life Sciences (Biology) / Physics

Subsequent work agreement:
Successful applicants will be required to sign a subsequent employment contract and will be required to work for Clicks as a qualified pharmaceutical assistant for a period equal to the duration of the apprenticeship period as a minimum.
