PAPER PURPOSE
Processing of payments through our system through debit cards, cash and credit card transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Record sales at a cash register by scanning items, breaking down and adding customer purchases.
Solve customer problems and answer questions.
Shopping bags if necessary.
Process return transactions.
Collect daily collections and floating balance.
Accept retail billing payments and issue receipts
Record all incorrect invoices in the necessary book or on the correct forms, giving the reasons.
Provide customer service effectively and efficiently.
Manage time effectively and use periods of silence to help with administration and presentation.
Collect cash and credit card payments from customers and record them accurately
Treat returns as needed if the customer buys again
Keep track of cash over the cash register drawer and verify that the amounts are correct.
Dial the bank (cash / cc / eft / credit) every morning
Complete the change request sheet for the bank change
Register customers for loyalty cards (end user)
Redeem and help customers with loyalty card credits.
Help find the reasons for over / under payment of cash every day.
Taking inventory
Customer service
Cleaning the workstation
Assist in the retail store when needed

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of experience related to retail tellers
Computer literacy
Preferably bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Reside in or around the Milnerton area
A stable work history, and have contactable references.
Please note that you will be asked to work during business hours: Monday through Thursday from 07:30 to 17:00 and on Fridays until 16:30
Saturdays (according to the schedule on the list) and holidays if necessary
Matrix certificate
Willingness to represent the Company in a responsible manner, promoting and maintaining a professional image at all times.
Appearing well presented and orderly.
Customer-centric with a desire to provide a complete “end-to-end” service going the extra mile
