A challenging opportunity is currently available for a top-performing individual at Mr Bikes in Sandton.

This position involves bookkeeping and general office administration. The successful applicant will have to be proactive, take initiative and work independently. We are looking for a trustworthy, reliable person with the ability to plan, organise and work under pressure and with good people skills.

Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions
Reconcile bank accounts
Manage bank feeds
Handle accounts receivable
Handle accounts payable
Work with tax practitioner and assist with tax compliance
Prepare financial statements
Take on some payroll and human resource functions.
Exceptional organisational skills
The ability to prioritise tasks
The ability to meet deadlines
Excellent data entry skills
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Minimum Requirements:
Valid Drivers Licence
Previous work experience as a Bookkeeper and Office Assistant
Clear criminal and clear credit record
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Confident, professional and well presented
